Payment & Subscription

Manage your Simzy plan on Android (PayOS) and iOS (In-App Purchase).
This guide shows how to upgrade, update payment methods, restore purchases, and handle receipts.


Plans Overview

  • Free — core lessons, quizzes, community.
  • Pro — unlimited lessons/projects, full Playground access (52+ languages), AI personalization, extra badges/streak perks.
  • Enterprise/School — class & learner management, assignments, analytics, anti-cheat, admin controls.

Plan names and benefits may vary by region or running promotions.


Android (PayOS)

Upgrade with PayOS

  1. Open the Simzy Android app.
  2. Go to Profile → Subscription.
  3. Choose Pro or Enterprise.
  4. Tap UpgradePay with PayOS.
  5. Select your PayOS method (e.g., card, banking, e-wallet) and complete the payment.
  6. Return to Simzy — your plan will update automatically.

Add / Change Payment Method (PayOS)

  • During checkout, pick or add a new PayOS method.
  • To change later, start an Upgrade/Change plan flow again and select a different method.

View Invoices & Receipts (PayOS)

  • After payment, a PayOS receipt is generated.
  • In Profile → Subscription → Billing history, open/download your receipt.

Cancel or Change Plan (Android)

  • In Profile → Subscription, tap Manage Plan.
  • Choose Change (switch monthly/annual) or Cancel (downgrade to Free at the next renewal).
  • You’ll keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.

Troubleshooting (PayOS)

  • Payment pending/failed: ensure network is stable; retry in a few minutes.
  • Charged but not upgraded: tap Restore / Refresh status in Subscription; if still not updated, contact support with your PayOS receipt ID.
  • Bank limits/3DS: verify your card is enabled for online payments and try again.

iOS (App Store IAP)

Upgrade via In-App Purchase

  1. Open the Simzy iOS app.
  2. Go to Profile → Subscription.
  3. Select your plan (monthly/annual).
  4. Confirm with Face ID / Touch ID / Apple ID password.
  5. Your Apple receipt is created and your plan activates immediately.

Restore Purchases (Switching Devices / Reinstall)

  • Go to Profile → Subscription and tap Restore Purchases.
  • Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.

Manage or Cancel (iOS)

  • Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or App Store → Account → Subscriptions).
  • Select Simzy to change plan or cancel.
  • Apple handles renewal timing; access continues until period end.

Receipts (iOS)

  • Apple emails a purchase receipt to your Apple ID email.
  • You can also view charges in Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account.

Troubleshooting (IAP)

  • Purchase didn’t unlock: tap Restore Purchases; if not fixed, restart the app and try again.
  • Payment declined: update your Apple payment method under Apple ID → Payment & Shipping and retry.
  • Family sharing: IAPs may not be shareable depending on Apple’s rules and product type.

Switching Devices or Platforms

  • Android → Android: just sign in; if needed, tap Restore / Refresh status.
  • iOS → iOS: sign in with the same Apple ID and Restore Purchases.
  • Android ↔ iOS: subscriptions are not transferable between stores. Cancel on the original store, then subscribe on the new platform when the current term ends.

Billing, Refunds, and Support

  • Android (PayOS) refunds: subject to PayOS and bank policies. Contact Simzy Support with your PayOS receipt ID.
  • iOS (IAP) refunds: handled by Apple. Use reportaproblem.apple.com under your Apple ID.
  • Tax & currency: calculated by the store/payment processor based on your region.

FAQ

Q: Can I change from monthly to annual?
Yes. Use Manage Plan (Android) or Apple Subscriptions (iOS) to switch. Proration depends on the store/provider.

Q: Will I lose data if I cancel?
No. Your progress, badges, and history remain. Premium features stop after your billing period ends.

Q: Do discounts/promos apply on both platforms?
Promotions may differ by store and region. Check the price shown at checkout.


Best Practices

  • Keep your payment method up to date to avoid interruptions.
  • If you upgrade but don’t see access, use Restore / Refresh status.
  • Save or download your receipts for reimbursement or tax purposes.
  • Enterprises/Schools: contact Simzy for invoice-based or bulk licensing options.
